We are Design Direction, Inc.
At Design Direction, we start out with a creative session getting to know you, your vision, and requirements before planning your project. It’s important to us that your home or office reflects your needs and lifestyles. Every client is different, and we embrace that.
Our background in working with contractors, builders, and architects allows us to work alongside the other professionals during the building process, ensuring your project will be completed efficiently. Along with design services we sell products for floor coverings, window coverings, countertops, and lighting. Our space planning and room layout services will help integrate all of the design elements needed for your area. Learn more about Design Direction Inc.

I believe in giving back to our community and am passionate about helping those less fortunate. Serving others has become a cornerstone value that Design Direction’s success has been and will continue to be built on.
A Fargo resident, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
As an interior designer, I help take the stress of building and remodeling off of my clients by working with them to design a space that they love to walk into each day. Through space planning, selecting finishes from flooring and tile to paint and window treatments, to working with trades people, I enjoy working with my clients to make their dreams a reality.
While I grew up in Fargo, I spent several years of my childhood as an MK (missionary kid) in Russia and Ukraine. It was during this time of living in the former Soviet Union that I began to cultivate a love for color, fabrics and design as a whole. I was often found sewing throw pillows to cozy up a room or called upon to dig through my fabric stash to find material to use for curtains or other projects.
After returning to the United States in my teen years, I finished high school and pursued other interests prior to returning to college to gain my Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. My free time is spent with family and friends and staying busy through my involvement with various organizations including the Home Builders Association, NDID (North Dakota Interior Designers), and Russian Harvest Ministries.
My involvement with all aspects of the design process helps to keep projects moving forward smoothly. I’ve enjoyed gaining knowledge through working as a team on window treatments to new construction projects and everything in between. A few of the elements I’ve enjoyed since joining the Design Direction team are client sketches and drawings, space planning, material selections, and graphic design. It is amazing to see a project go from samples on a layout table to a home our clients adore!
Growing up, I was very creative and always looking for ways to make my home unique. As I got older, I began developing perspective drawings and artwork to influence positive reactions, which sparked my interest in pursuing interior design and art. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and have completed the Baccalaureate Program in the study of Fine Art from North Dakota State University.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my nephew, as well as other family and friends. One of my favorite things to do is express myself through my artwork. It allows me to explore new ideas that encompass my passion for fine art and interior design. I stay active in the Fargo community through the North Dakota Interior Designers and creating artwork for non-profit organizations.
